Ho ho ho n all that.........

Hoping you all had a good Christ-mas, we had a wonderful meal along with Leigh, Keith Amanda a Julio, Jo n Dave arrived late afternoon and mulled wine was passed around, we all trundled up to Bar Neuvo as it was en route for Amanda and Julio to collect their car and head back into the hills and see to their animals.
Spoke to Lau yesterday sounds like she is having a good un :) and a tad tired!!
This morning I am wrestling with my demons whether it is due to impending visit to dentist this afternoon or just that aftermath wave the can be a little overwhelming after the collective excitement - I woke with J on my mind feeling sad that we have such little contact these days, hauling the mind back onto lighter levels is harder today, no doubt I shall get into a bout of cleaning and meditating/observing my thoughts - letting them go :)

The power of the word

Of all the powerful weapons of destruction that man has invented, the most terrible - and the most cowardly - is the word.

Knives and firearms leave traces of blood. Bombs shake whole buildings and streets. Poisons can always be detected.

But a destructive word can provoke Evil without leaving behind it a single clue. Children are subject to years of conditioning by their parents, artists are mercilessly pilloried, women are systematically undermined by remarks made by their husbands, the faithful are kept apart from religion by those who judge themselves capable of interpreting the voice of God.
