Temperatures rising.....

I pinched this from Val's blog :) it is a great analogy.........Del is watching the weather reports for your area.....stay safe xx
"She opened up a world of close and informed examination of plants and flowers and help in getting to grips with understanding what things are, and why they are the shape and colour they are. Stripping away the layers and looking at the underlying structures did not lessen my appreciation of flowers, quite the contrary, it just increased the fascination. I can now draw with a little more understanding of the architecture and purpose of flowers and plants, not just make a record of their superficial beauty.
Also, just having this knowledge means I can approach the drawing with a greater sensitivity which in turn gives me a greater satisfaction. It is not, of course, an easy route to better draftsmanship but it really helps and, (as I do, and will, keep saying in this blog) it all comes back to the value of to drawing from life. Photographs while being a very useful tool, can just reduce things to distorted 2 dimensional cyphers of the real thing and can be endlessly misleading."
Striping away the layers of ourselves can only increase our fascination of this life - the who what and why we are - gaining understanding of our purpose as individuals and collectively - superficial beauty has had it's day!!

I forgot to mention that D stopped taking the chemical drugs he was prescribed for his blood pressure and is taking ginkgo and hawthorn - someone gave him some as they had heard it was also good - and readings this month have been lower than any when taking prescribed drugs and NO side effects - well I knew that :)
Yesterday came even bigger breakthroughs on other levels as Jules asked if e could have a couple of their friends stay at the beginning of next month, 3 days, well it turns out to be the same folk that blocked up our waste system 18 months ago and was the straw the broke the camels/Del's back - when his dis- ease first set in - I know that a couple of months ago the thought of these folks staying again would have had him frothing at the mouth, the same as the thought of returning to N & G's place, he had said he couldn't face it as all the memories would flood back and bring on panic attacks again, well now he says it doesn't matter - he feels just fine about it all- woopee doooooos!! So some good news all round.
Well I know I said I wasn't going to bother about a market BUT when D was out and about tother day he was told of a new one that had just started up at Antigua Venta San Antonio
For those who know CasaB this is the place on the main drag up to Campillos - 10/15 mins away - anyway they are holding a Saturday market over the lunch time period - being so big it is an ideal stop off for a lot of tourist coaches and we were told it has a definite artesano theme......soooooo......nothing ventured nothing gained
Watched an interesting prog Dispatches with Mark Thomas exposing the ethics and workings of the Coca Cola company - 2 billion advertising budget using all the knowledge available no wonder everyone is addicted - glad to say this is one addiction I don't have :) Anyone interested in seeing it can find it on YouTube along with the wonderful Bill Hicks whose ability to expose truth wrapped in comedy was exceptional!!
HA - in the last post there was an article on reconnect and last night an email plopped into my box from a couple we met nearly 2 years ago now - they want to reconnect early next month and of course the impending visit from Ange who ha reconnected after 6 years!
The crossroads of transformation is a point that we are at every day, every moment at our lives. It is the point where we wonder whether we should take a bold step in a new direction or stay where we are. Can we take a chance on ourselves? Can we risk being who we could be? Can we see past the current reality, which is really only a small blink on the continuum of our potential, and have faith in ourselves and our dreams? This is the challenge of transformation, to remain steadfast in our awareness of what is being pointed out to us as examples of our fear and move into an awareness of abundance, prosperity, unconditional love and joy.

Now you know why I gave Boots the big E all those years ago :)
“The population at large trusts Boots more than any other pharmacy, but when you look behind the smokescreen, when it comes to alternative medicines, that trust is not justified.” {read on} It is in Boots' interest to bring "alternative" into disrepute!!

The bigger the company the more funds they have for advertising budgets and they are all using the knowledge gained of how our brains work - very subtle propaganda - verging on mind control also something the governments utilise to their advantage, they don't fund certain sciences unless they see BIG profit in it for themselves..... Makes me happy not to have a TV any more - I am aware of how I can react/respond to advertising in glossy magazines {I sometimes get handed a few that are "doing the rounds"} thankfully I have a mind that reminds me that it is all guff and illusion and 9 times outa 10 I don't get sucked in :)
But I imagine with many homes the TV is a constant background so all these messages are infiltrating on a subconscious level - all of this just proves to me how important it is for each and everyone of us to be MINDFUL at all times

People are being herded by "invisible" sheepdogs...........

Brightest Blessings.........
