Wine versus Water

A little lacking in energy since yesterday afternoon for some reason - but meditated with some good music {little wink at Eli xxx} and then felt inspired to play on psp, something I haven't done in months but as my header is all out of sync, I thought I'd try and put something together, I'll try it out when finished with the post.
Energy is returning
Finally got hold of Jason this morning and he will make it up Friday afternoon as he is working Friday night and Saturday, he will also see what John n Jeff are up to, apparently John has said nothing bout his bday, so hope he isn't a bit down, fingers crossed they will make it up
another bolt outa the blue was a friend request at facebook, couldn't think who it was although it dawned on me that I did know the guy and when I mentioned it to Jules she said it was young Sam that used to live in the village, she knew the surname which clinched it, so I am looking forward to hearing all about his adventures in the UK, which is where he moved to abut 3 years ago or is it 4 {spanish shrug}

Jessie forwarded this - think it is quite funny {although in Casarabonela the water comes straight out of the mountain, so it hasn't been through the "system" for a few thousand years, maybe millions}
Wine vs. water

To my friends who enjoy a glass of wine... and those who don't.

As Ben Franklin said:

"In wine there is wisdom,

in beer there is freedom,

in water there is bacteria."

In a number of carefully controlled trials,

scientists have demonstrated that if we drink 1 liter of water each day,

at the end of the year we would have absorbed more than

1 kilo of Escherichia coli, (E. coli) - bacteria found in feces.

In other words, we are consuming 1 kilo of poop.

However, we do NOT run that risk when drinking wine & beer

(or tequila, rum, whiskey or other liquor) because alcohol has to

go through a purification process of boiling,

filtering and/or fermenting.

Remember:

Water = Poop,

Wine = Health.

Therefore,

it's better to drink wine and talk stupid,

than to drink water and be full of shit.

There is no need to thank me for this valuable information:

Read this and thought of you Val :)

I heard the medium, in his most eloquent fashion, suggest that a leaf is a sculpture of the Creator. Every leaf in its divine form knows only one fabric of light - that it's a leaf. That is its truth. It doesn't try to be the tree. It doesn't try to get something better than the leaf on the branch next to it. It knows that it is the beauty of its own benevolent energy, that the gift of its leaf-ness, if you will, is that it experiences everything by its Creator's Force. It knows only truth and to know truth, my friends, is to fall in love again. To know truth is the ability to focus on the very existence of your fabric, your vibrance. In the journey of understanding truth, you come to this: There is only truth. {*10 principles of conscius creation*}

.....we are creators of our reality. When we do not know this we live in a world of illusion and feel that we are victims of situations and things are being done to us.
It is time to take control and know and understand deep within that we manifest our reality. We came to this planet to live a wonderful life, and this wonderment and joy is within us. It can never come from the outside. Things on the outside cannot bring us joy, we are joy and we were created in joy {*practicing the art of manifesting miracles*}

The Bridge ~ Step 48 ~ Meditation

You are your attention

The greatest battles being fought are not upon the deserts, forests and fields of Earth but within the human mind. You see, our minds are fair game for anyone who is unscrupulous or unconscious enough to want to take our attention away from us. We are our attention and to the extent that another can get us to put our attention on whatever he or she chooses, we give away a part of ourselves - the most vital part, in fact.

It's interesting that taking someone else's attention away from them has become a widely accepted occurrence in our world today. Most people don't mind at all; they accept that others can interrupt them, regardless of the motivation. Indeed, many people's lives are filled to the brim by constant distraction, and sadly, they never get control over their own attention. That's where meditation comes in. Meditation is the tool we use to regain control over our own mind.

Just before he took his leave, Lee Ching said that a second way to support life is to spend some quiet time alone everyday. This idea sounded a little odd to me at first, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized that those who meditate daily are much less likely to become involved in conflicts. They're calmer, less excitable, and, even more important, they're more apt to see things from a higher perspective. Later on, he told me that this is why those who seek to manipulate us don't want us to meditate because it makes us more difficult to control. Meditators aren't as reliant upon others to tell them what to do because they're cultivating their own inner independence. Compared to most people, they're a lot freer.

From The Code: Intentions in Action

My Intention for today is:

I Intend that I am spending some quiet time by myself everyday.

I know this to be so true from experience when I lapse in my meditative time every day then I can feel my self tightening up and "worry" trying to get in LOL
