Circles spirals & wheels of evolution

As I was perusing my feeds this morning a song I loved when much younger was windmills of your mind
[Noel Harrison's version, Rex's son for those old enough to remember LOL]
and how as I read of the different cycles we are in it is truly like circles in spirals as individuals and as a collective

Round, like a circle in a spiral
Like a wheel within a wheel.
Never ending or beginning,
On an ever spinning wheel
Like a snowball down a mountain
Or a carnaval balloon
Like a carousell that's turning
Running rings around the moon

Like a clock whose hands are sweeping
Past the minutes on it's face
And the world is like an apple
Whirling silently in space
Like the circles that you find
In the windmills of your mind

Our world is always changing and even the most seemingly static
physical forms eventually dissolve to be reborn in a new form another
day. We, as self aware beings, have the attribute that allows us to
interact and influence this process consciously. This is an incredible
creative quality that lets us shift, shape and mold the world around
us. We get to play with the very fabric of form which is an awesome
opportunity with incredible responsibility.
For example, we have gone from experiences like the horse and buggy to
interplanetary vehicles mapping the cosmos and from expressing
ourselves with ink on paper to infinite forms of electronic
communication being conveyed through the air. Even our beloved earth is
reflecting resulting changes in the environment which we presently
label as global warming.
Looking around at the results of our human creative influence, it is
clearer and more obvious each day that the thoughts and feelings we
hold in our consciousness directly affect everything. The power we
wield through our resulting actions is either life affirming or
destructive. It is becoming painfully obvious that a logical, technical
and mechanical world needs the wise balance of love, nurturing and
harmony, otherwise we will destroy ourselves. Our masculine and
feminine qualities must come into greater balance for our very survival
and evolution.{Inspiring people}

2008 promises to be an unusual year. There are two primary things that will be going on for all of you. The first and most primary thing about 2008 for you as individuals can be found in the fact that it is the midpoint of a 9 year cycle of introducing the integration of soul potential.
This process of introduction to the soul began its 9 year cycle on June 6, 2004.
This date marked the passing of Venus between the Sun and the Earth in retrograde, forming a 9 year cycle before Venus (which energetically represents the connection to the soul consciousness in the macrocosm of universal symbols) will make the same crossing back in the other direction. This all began on a sacred date - 6 + 6 + 6, when you consider that 2004 = 2+0+0+4, which is 6 in numerology. (June is the 6th month, 6th day and year that adds up to 6 as well.)
Well, you are no longer in a time of preparation. You are now in a time of emergence and reconnection to all the parts of Self. And it is your choices that will determine how graceful this process will be for each one of you. But we do want you to be quite clear that there is no escaping this rise and shift in your reality, as it is shifting for each and every one of you in unprecedented ways!
So take what we say and see if it triggers truth for you. If not, throw it out the "proverbial window." We merely encourage you to look deeper within, as this will be a time that everything you know will be challenged to stretch and deepen. That is a scary prospect to the personality and ego, but it opens a remarkable empowering potential as well.
New set ups will also be discovered in businesses and in the ways you relate to one another. New educational materials will be introduced as well, as a new system of education is prepared. It will seem controversial to begin {2008}

Editor’s note: Judging by the site, Chris has one of the most fun businesses around! Chris had a desire to create a product where there was virtually no waste, and he’s almost there - about 85% of their waste can be recycled into other products. They use some of the waste for rug-making, which produces work/income in the off-season. These rugs are also available from their web site. He’s hoping that when volume increases, they’ll be able to re-extrude the soft polypro rope to make more of the machine washable and color fast sandals; making them a fully recyclable product. {Rope Sandals: A Nomadic State of Mind}

One of the great monuments in the city of Kyoto is a Zen garden consisting of an area of sand and fifteen rocks.

The original garden had sixteen rocks. The story goes that as soon as the gardener had finished his work, he called the emperor to see it.

‘Magnificent,’ said the emperor. ‘It is the loveliest garden in Japan. And this is the most beautiful rock in the garden.’

The gardener immediately removed the rock that the emperor had so admired and threw it away.

‘Now the garden is perfect,’ he said to the emperor. ‘There is nothing in particular that stands out, and it can be seen now in all its harmony. A garden, like life, needs to be seen in its totality. If we linger over the beauty of one detail, the rest will seem ugly.’
