Chasing your tales of woe - By Gillian MacBeth-Louthan
Each and everyday you are given pebbles of worry. Whether real or illusionary they land in your body as solid granules of confusion and pain. They sit heavy and you feel less buoyant and denser. Everyday you go forth and you collect more of these pebbles of worry and confusion allowing them to collect in the body anchoring you like a rusty anchor on a sunken pirate’s ship. You blindly walk through the passageways of your life entering each door, and each situation without joy only an anxiety.
You were all given programs as a child to grow up and become responsible for your actions, your world, your bills etc. In that residue of responsibility you have been stifled, choking on what you are supposed to do, gasping for fresh air and a second chance. . You walk through your mind thinking about an injustice that was done to you, a fear that was given to you, and a word that cut you to the quick. You sit abreast the merry go round of these past injustices changing horses but never getting off the emotional ride.

Feelings/emotions - mind/observer - a debate held by many and one I have indulged in many a time, being a typical libra I would concede that both are needed in equality and equanimity,though to many I would appear more mind oriented --------Do you say " I feel sad/mad/bad" or "I am sad/mad/bad""I feel......" the observer notes and doesn't BE{come}
Feelings are lessons in the now to observe, ponder and question then put in their proper place
The use of words in our day to day living needs such close observation/attention - this attention will reveal why/what/how our life/now is manifesting

After the feeling the Being
Remember, you are not your feelings. You are the one who experiences your feelings. So, if you were to let go of these, what is left is your essence, simply in the act of being.
We get so attached to our feelings that we think that we ARE our feelings. It is even in our language, when we say, “I am sad,” rather than, “I feel sad.” We think that our feelings represent the entirety of who we are.
When you take something that has happened once or twice and decide that it is always this way or never that way, you are overgeneralizing
