Bizarre events and more bloody rain!!

The rain has been pounding for more than 24 hours, now it is running down the inside of the bathroom and snug walls - just gotta grin and bear it, no other option and everyone, even the new builds are suffering, paint manufacturers and sellers are going to be rubbing their hands in glee............

I finally got a hold of Salvador Saturday morning and he braved the rain and came and saw Norman, he wanted him up at the surgery to give and ecg and other tests, how to get him up there, as his breathing was laboured, so up to Oasis where 2 young Spanish lads were on the computer, Salvador asked them if they would be kind enough to take their car to the wee car park and help get N up to it and then take him up to the surgery, which they kindly did along with Ricky and that was the last I saw of N.........when he didn't return in the afternoon I thought he was at Oasis watching the rugby/football and waiting a lift/helping hand back down........at 8 I headed off out to Remes party, a little concerned, but thinking Salvador would have called if there were any complications....... a great party was had by all and Marejke Jules Africa Yolanda and I finally left sometime after 2, when I got in I realised N wasn't in the house, now I was worried but could do nothing; I phoned Salvador first thing Sunday morning to be told he had been taken to the clinico - he had extreme anaemia and a problem with his heart, S thought he would be there for a week and then returned to the village. So I emailed the consulate to inform them of the change and also age concern here - I was concerned for N as he had been whisked away with nothing but what he stood up in and no money, I wanted to know someone would go see him asap.....well the emails are flying back and forth as the consulate have been in contact with the clinico and they have no record of him or his admittance.........where is N?? We are still trying to find him.........

You know how I interpreted that? These people were so hungry for love that they were accepting substitutes. They were embracing material things and expecting a sort of hug back. But it never works. You can't substitute material things for love or for gentleness or for tenderness or a sense of comradeship"
