If I've managed to learn anything at all from what we've done,
It's that even though it fills the cracks and crevices and mends the tattered souls,
Still we're each other's nemesis, and two halves do not always make a whole.
And though you know I've often heard it said we're made of sterner stuff,
Love is not enough,
Love is not enough.
Here is a short
excerpt from The Law of Agreement
A lot of people nowadays are
talking about the Law of
Attraction and the Law of Allowing, however there is another
Law which also begins with the letter A that is just as
important - and yet, we in the Intenders are among the very
few who are even talking about it. It's called the Law of
Agreement and, simply put, the Law of Agreement says,
agreement reinforces reality. Said another way, your
agreement with any belief or idea makes it stronger.
We can easily see how this works by looking at an example.
If, for instance, one person believes it's a good idea for all of
us to go jump off of a cliff, well, then it's not very likely to
happen. If, however, 100 people agree that it's a good idea
to jump off a cliff, then the idea gets a little stronger. Taken a
step further, if, enough people - say, 100,000 people - agree
that cliff jumping is a great idea, pretty soon we're all
standing in line at the edge of the cliff waiting our turn to
jump.
It gets even more interesting when we stop to consider that
every belief system we have exists only because we agree
on it. Indeed, our agreements are the building blocks of our
realities; they are the very foundation upon which our beliefs
are built. Not one belief, large or small, would exist for long
without our agreement to it . . .
Put still another way, your agreement is your point of power,
and you can add to or weaken any idea or commonly held
belief simply by making a choice. We have with us, in each
moment of our lives, the ability to discern - to decide
whether something is working for us or not - and to choose to agree with
it and make it stronger,

And all the things I left unsaid, assuming that you knew,[I hope you did/do]
As if there were no question you could read my mind;
And all the times I shut you out and left you hanging- me deaf, dumb and blind;
And though I know we vowed to stick it out through the easy and the rough,
Love is not enough,
Love is not enough.

And all the times I shut you out and left you hanging- me deaf, dumb and blind;
And though I know we vowed to stick it out through the easy and the rough,
Love is not enough,
Love is not enough.
And all the stupid games we played to save out tarnished prides,
As if it really mattered which of us was wrong or right;
And even as we stood and watched it fall apart,
I loved you with all my might.
And thought the heroes in the paperbacks always wind up in the buff,
Love is not enough,
Love is not enough.
As if it really mattered which of us was wrong or right;
And even as we stood and watched it fall apart,
I loved you with all my might.
And thought the heroes in the paperbacks always wind up in the buff,

Even our old friends who should've known better
They said, "She's heading for ruin. Turn away and forget her?" [and they tried to warn him]
But they don't know you like I do. They don't love you.

You can let down your hair.
You can let down your hair.
You can let down your hair.
The summer's over.
You can let down your hair.
You can let down your hair.
The summer's over.
You ask why I need you. I have my reasons.
The stars have the sun, but they never have seasons.
Here, I brought some things to read. Here's my good deed.

Helper of angels, wretched and vile.
His only defense a perpetual smile.
Something must have gone awry. Please don't ask why.

And then I found Didge Half Moon - a gig we shared - got me bopping :) and it will be light till nearly nine next week, today the sky was blue and sun was hot and people were all smiling - first night without putting the fire on and leaving the door open yeah that warm :) now found Nitan Sawney the tape you made, Sarah for our trip over back in Nov2001 haven't heard this for a loooooooong time - also drove Z's car feeling at home in it for the first time today, mind you considering it's only in the past week I have really used it LOL - as they say practice...... etc etc....well maybe not purrfect but at ease :)
Eli thank you for all your lovely music. thoughts and remedies - remember even though in many ways you have moved on in the last year other parts of you go into a remembering mode - which accounts for your Mother's behaviour - the emotional blow you all took a year ago is resonating in your bodies again - it can't not, that kinda blow isn't dealt with quickly - it rushes in from time to time usually linked to special memories/dates, a bit like the tidal energies - time to surf the waves - love to you
"Nothing less than a true and lasting peace will be accepted. Nothing less than working toward that which connects us, instead of that which separates us, will be honored. The senseless practice of placing our warriors up on pedestals and treating them like our greatest heroes is passing away, as we begin to see, with the greatest of clarity, that our truest heroes are the ones who stand up for the Highest Good of all - not just the Highest Good of the contradictory few......We have been led to believe that we have no other options: that we must put up with present-day rulers and leaders who are completely devoid of conscience; that we must forever live in a world where killing and suffering continue unabated. But this is simply not true, much less is it for our Highest Good. It is in the Highest Good that each and every man, woman, >and child who treads this Earth is given free reign to lovingly pursue his or her complete and total fulfillment without interruption or distraction. Change is imminent. The days of waiting and procrastinating are over. The Highest Good is calling, now, for us to bring forth a world of love, a world where we look back upon these chaotic times and thank our lucky stars that they are finally over because we woke up and said, "Enough!" We no longer agree with anyone who would advocate anything less than complete and total peace for all mankind. That future stands before us, still as bright and shining as it ever was. We need only consider the Highest Good and It will take us there." [The law of Agreement]
