For the first time in 100 years, we’ve just completed an entire month without a single sunspot. And the lack of sunspots could signal a new Ice Age or some other extraordinary climactic conditions on Earth. [read on]

Spooky as we ended up watching Snowball Earth last night followed by the first couple of parts of Parrallel Universes

Astrology Stress Zones for September 2008 - Mars stimulating Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces
"Mars activates and accelerates the pace of events in our lives. People currently going through dynamic activity, a hectic fast-paced period, or having the hardest time the first half of September are Aries, Cancers, Libras, and Capricorns born the end of March and first week of April, the end of June and first week of July, the first 10 days of October, and the end of December and first week of January. The second half of the month this applies to the mentioned signs born between April 6-17, July 8-19, October 9-20, and January 7-16. If you were born in these zones, focus on what constitutes responsible action, given these birth periods show more highly agitated energy than usual.......This month speeds things up, so apply new skills and strengths, and face a future that's already underway. Quickly finish what you need to, realize an old way of life is over, and there is a need for new effort and directions.

After mid-September, this applies to Libras born the October 9-20, and they finish a cycle they also began October 2006. Since it continues to be a time of endings and beginnings, embrace the new, get ready for the pace to quicken, and try not to be too blunt, impulsive, abrasive, or leap before you look. (I know these are not Libra traits, but with Mars in your sign.....) Above all, stay balanced in your actions, and find the right rhythm to do whatever you have to.

This primarily affects all Libras in the areas of partnerships (business and personal), opportunities, values, resources, and how you use what you have. These are ending somehow, and a new two year pulse is opening up. Take the initiative in ways that are fair, just, balanced, responsible, and mature. Let go of people and things that are imbalanced, cold, passive or active-aggressive, or not your responsibility any more...." mmmmmm well we shall see......

The land is feeding :) The oranges will be juicy.......

FECUNDITY - {no I am not swearing} Celebrate the richness of your imagination, hold this vision and then plan tomorrow's activities. Keep this plan alive all day

This is not a time to reach outside for answers, but to go deep within. As we go in, we notice.

Notice your home. What patterns are outmoded? Where are the obstacles to your realization of self? Look at piles of what is not being used. Is there a tool, a skill you have, clothing, computers, cameras that you no longer use? Are they outmoded? Will you use their gifts? If not they need to move along, so give those possessions away. If you are not willing to pass them along, then use them.

Make small movements. Allow yourself quiet time. Listen. Clear, clean, restage resting and work places of your life. And bring sustainable light into the time of dark.

In the new year, as you sit cozy in your home, remember there are always those who are cold and hungry or in the dark. Can you pass along something you no longer need to someone who may need it more? Not just people, the animals need your help now too. Can you find a way to share your wisdom and prosperity with those who have no voice? The ancient Chinese masters said: "Feed the Earth, feed the fish and the birds and your world will be abundant."

Part of the gift of being on earth at this time is that you have more choices than you ever did before. There's an even greater potential for you to be able to understand who you are, to expand further, to move in whatever direction you may seek to move. You also have the choice to slow down. You have the choice to say, "I'm going to back off." You have the choice to say, "I choose ascension and expansion but without the trauma and the extreme shifts."

So, therefore, one might say, this expansion, this movement into the fourth dimension, or this new age, or this new space is allowing you way more potentials than you've ever had. So choose what's right for you.

This time of the year is when I oftentimes enjoy looking back to see what the past year has brought for you. Consider your life. Take this opportunity to be able to consider this past year with all the amplitude, with all the facets, with all the assistance that you have with this deep connection.

You may, as you look at your life, see a pattern. It may be a pattern of disappointment; a pattern of seeking to manifest what doesn't happen. Consciously choose to shift that pattern right now at this moment. Consciously choose to be wherever you want to be, to have whatever you seek to have.

Looking forward to the upcoming year put forth what you seek to manifest. From within, look around. Ask yourself, "Is there anything you need to know? Is there anything you need to do in order to manifest what you are creating in this moment?"

Each of you as a single individual may be thinking, "Oh, but I'm just one human." You are not just one human. You are part of a group of hundreds of thousands, who are conscious. You are part of a group of millions who are semi-conscious, aware that something's happening; we don't know what. And you are part of a group that is with these, who are in the non-physical form.

Many of you walk hand in hand with everyone who is here. You chose this life upon the earth at this time. You know from being within your own divinity that you have the knowledge; you have the experience. And you made the choices. Thank you for that. Thank you for choosing love. Thank you for choosing peace. Thank you for choosing to believe in yourself, even if there are times in which you don't feel you are one hundred percent there. It's okay. Having the intention is the first step.

So believe in yourself. Trust yourself. Live your life with your heart filled to overflowing with love, with awareness, with the knowledge that you are divine; All of these have been within that diamond of your soul. All of these have been experiences that you have had at one point or another. Let yourself believe. Let yourself open up. When you do, you are without struggle. When you believe in yourself everything else falls into alignment. When you love yourself miracles occur.

If there are times you don't feel you can fully love yourself, then feel compassion. Allow the love to come in through compassion.{GoddessLight}

Good Choices: Discernment Leads To Integrity

Copyright Mellissa Laurie Seaman 2003 All Rights Reserved

We make judgments about people all the time, and they are usually not helpful. “That jerk just cut me off on the freeway!” “That girl is rude.” “That guy is an ignorant fool.” We make our judgments based on rudimentary perceptions and limited experience.

Life experience has taught many of us to be careful about making judgments. We have learned, usually the hard way, that making judgments and having expectations usually leads to disappointment at best. Our judgments close our hearts, and our expectations put limitations on an otherwise limitless future.

But sometimes you Know that something, or someone, is not good for you. Your gut tells you. Your instincts tell you. Your angels whisper in your ear. You can feel it in your heart that this thing, this situation, this relationship – is not right for you. Should you toss away this feeling, this Knowing, because it is a “judgment?” Should you feel guilt for having such seemingly judgmental feelings? No. To do so would be to ignore your powers of Discernment, and to make meaningless the Gift of Free Choice.

Discernment is a skill of Wisdom. To discern the Truth from the Lie, the Right from the Wrong, the Good from the Bad – this, if it is not done from a place of fear, is discernment. Fear is the underpinning of Judgment, as it is the underpinning of all Separation. Discernment is a gift that goes along with the Free Choice we all have. We get to decide what is right for us.

Discernment is how we shape our adult values. As children, we are fed whatever values our parents held. As grown-ups, we discern what is Truth for us, and we create our own values. I make my decisions based on my values. I value health, joy, free creativity, faith and love. So I make decisions based on this. And when I encounter people who choose illness, complaining, victimhood, pessimism and fear, I stay away from them. Does this make me judgmental? No. I’m using my discernment to see what is Right for me. Does that mean I hate this person? No. In fact, if I’m in touch with my True Self, I love this person. I just don’t want to be involved in their drama. I wish only for them what is in their Highest Good – whatever that may be. And I accept that it may be in that person’s Highest Good to stay in pain for a while to learn some lesson. I think the AA term for it is that they are “doing their research.” But that doesn’t need to include me. I am detached, although I am never completely separated, as we all share the same web

Layers Of Feeling Coping With Passive Aggression
Many people are taught from a young age to suppress feelings commonly regarded as negative, such as anger, resentment, fear, and sorrow. Those who cannot or will not express these emotions tend to engage in passive-aggressive behaviors that provide them with a means of redirecting their feelings. Passive aggression can take many forms: People who feel guilty saying “no” may continually break their promises because they couldn’t say no when they meant it. Others will substitute snide praise for a slur to distance themselves from the intense emotions they feel. More often than not, such behavior is a cry for help uttered by those in need of compassion and gentle guidance. When we recognize passive-aggressive patterns in the behavior of others, we should never allow ourselves to be drawn into a struggle for power. Passive aggression is most often wielded by those who feel powerless in the face of what they perceive as negative emotions because they hope to avoid confronting their true feelings. They feel they are in control because they do not display overt emotion and often cannot understand how they have alienated their peers. If someone close to us shows signs of frustration or annoyance but claims nothing is amiss, we can point out that their tone of voice or gestures are communicating a different message and invite them to confide in us. When we feel slighted by a backhanded compliment, it is important that we calmly explain how the jibe made us feel and why. And when an individual continually breaks their promises, we can help them understand that they are free to say no if they are unwilling to be of service. As you learn to detect passive aggression, you may be surprised to see a hint of it in yourself. Coping with the natural human tendency to veil intense emotions can be as simple as reminding yourself that expressing your true feelings is healthy. The emotions typically regarded as negative will frequently be those that inspire you to change yourself and your life for the better, whereas passive-aggressive behavior is a means of avoiding change. When you deal constructively with your feelings, you can put them behind you and move forward unencumbered by unexplored emotion.

Light Bulb moment

Yesterday certainly seemed like a light bulb moment for me. Questions that have been circling my mind, things that I have been pondering upon in quiet moments.......concern at my reclusive ways, I know I have always liked my own space, but now it is more like an aversion to crowded situations and having to socialise; answers came in various forms but mostly from a web site I visited through a friend at care2.
  • Depression for no reason, or related to the crisis state. This is often just the consciousness clearing out old layers of energy that need to be released. It is not necessary to "process" or relive the experience, just allow the body to release the energy. Have patience with the process and know that it will pass.
  • Disrupted sleep patterns, often waking up to 3 times a night, or just at about 3am. Again this is just the consciousness adapting to new cycles of activity. Higher consciousness is often more active at night since the lower dimensions are quiet at this time.
  • Sudden extreme sensitivity to people and environments. A person who has previously been sociable and active suddenly finds they can't bear to be in shopping malls or in crowded environments such as restaurants.

  • I certainly feel less anxious now, and although I have been more meditative since the beginning of this year, now I feel *settled* thankful that I am now in this space to become ever more aware and have time and opportunity to practice gratefulness, which I have done a lot of, in fact my latest crochet T will be called Thanks & Gratitude as these have been in my mind as I have worked on it :)
    Much of my time now is for creating new habits and reactions with a lighter brighter consciousness.
    Many will think this is all bunkum, but I have always believed we are an evolving species and we are living in times of transition, we have had the matriarchal and patriarchal[where on or other was the dominant force], now we are moving into an age of synthesis, harmony, working together - this can be seen in the way it is now accepted that Mum n Dad get time together with a new born, both parents get equal chances [well if they are in good employ they can, but it is changing, from little acorns mighty oaks do grow].
    We all now change can seem painful on an individual level and we can see it globally, the wars and strife as we are rent from old ways of thinking and perceiving, moving away from thinking only in terms of I and moving into we and us as more and more we walk the talk - many people profess to believing that we are all connected and yet will become vengeful when seeing cruelty, they have yet to hear themselves - how can wishing pain on another - even if that other has committed an act of extreme cruelty on a child or animal - they quote do unto others - they still are not listening to their own words and voices, they are also adding to the violence and so it continues - I am not saying that there aren't many very sick people on this planet that should, for the safety of the collective be *taken off the streets* but there are ways and Ways;

    We say to you now that the experience of COMPASSION has replaced Abundance in the New Paradigm. And the best way to learn compassion is to experience and feel what others feel. When 80% of the planetary population struggle to survive and feed themselves, can you honestly and in integrity seek to create abundance for yourself? Do you not realise that so often this "abundance" that you so glibly manifest using your basic "magician's tricks" of visualisation and naming, is taken from those who barely have enough, and often do not have enough.
