I myself am made entirely of flaws, stitched together with good intentions.

I really like this wee statement LOL and I think sums up most of the folks I know and love and certainly echos my own personality......
So another week started full of enthusiasm which diminished as the week wore on and by Wed evening I had the beginnings of an abscess, so Thursday I holed up and didn't go anywhere, despite Julio tryng to persuade me to get the car started as he had brought the jump leads with him, we did it today, as he had Steve with him I let them get on with it - it was worth it for the comedy value, anyway didn't take to much effort before "Cecil" vrummed into life once more - he is now turned round so easy to bump start if needs be as it will be Tuesday before he goes for a run [oooo er] can't get diesel before then as today is a holiday as is Monday, the weather was so kind to us today [ a suprise after a week of bitterly biting cold winds and rain] and the Artesania Fair took place in the main plaza - I even sold a couple of items - and a Spanish lady took my phone number and someone else put in an order, so all good and am going to another market next Sat over in Coin which is under cover - going with Jo n Terry so we can split a pitch and Coin is a busy wee town - it takes real effort on my part to make myself go to these things but if today is anything to go by it IS worth the effort, not just the selling of stuff but the comadrie of fellow stall holders and people who stop by - making an effort with myself :)
Thanks to Sarah [34 matalans hehehehe] I have the Killer's new album which is, pardon the pun an "killer" of an album, Human was the first piece of music I was aware of after del died and it hit me really hard and still does and I can cry and dance to it now I have listened to the whole album - I smile if D was gonna say anything to me it could only be through music and this one has too many "coincidences" - one track is Spaceman :) It links to make a triangle with Rameses and Steve Hillage tracks on their albums.......although he had a connection with Buddhism he also felt connected to the "aliens" hell he once said that I reminded him of a picture of an alien that was in a book he had as a kid - he "fell in love" with this "image" mmmmmmmm
Had a great chat with Val, Skype is wonderful :) and Lau and Leigh love hearing their voices
So according to one in the village [I said it would happen] that I have recovered very quickly - well all I can say to her is ha fucking hahahaha - you only see me when I venture forth and I aint gonna be doing that when I am in my misery mode - and I psyche myself up for the times I "make myself" face the world - but to her grief involves breaking up and down - her experience - I feel kinda sorry for her.....
It's now Monday morning - we were indeed blessed with the weather on Sat as although yesterday was mild the sun was obscured by cloud and this morning it is drizzly; I spent a quiet day went round to Remy's for lunch with cider from the Basque region, which is where she and her Dutch hubby live and work, they only get down here a few times each year, but is always good to see them. Crocheted a couple of fluffy scarves from left over yarn and had an early night.
As it is another public holiday today the supertodo will only be open for an hour or two this morning so quick flit up into the village and then snuggle back down with radio4 and my crochet - I will be working hard Wed/Thurs as I will up at La Era so my excuse for as little as poss until then LOL
Hope everyone is looking forward to Christmas :) all the decorations are now up on the village and a big log fire is lit at Lorenzo's in the evenings, everything is all a twinkling, and in case anyone wonders why they never get chrissy cards from me is because they are not to be found in the village not a Spanish tradition, I think most of the Brits go down to the coast to somewhere like Brit essentials to get theirs, I did make them for a couple of years but haven't got myself into gear for them this year......hey ho
Brightest Blessings :)
