The rain in Spain falls mainly in Malaga Province!!!!

"All blame is a waste of time.
No matter how much fault you
find with another, and
regardless of how much you
blame him, it will not change you"
- Wayne Dyer

and the rock, the stream always wins
- not by strength but by perseverance."

Interesting........listening to an interview about the side effects of the all the cancer treatments that occur several years down the line, something that was in my mind when I declined 12 years ago and is now only just being recognised, it was "logical" to me - blast your body with radiation or chemo and there is bound to be a re-action.......

Well as many of those I love are snowbound, [do any of you remember Del being stuck in his van on the bypass in Dfries due to snow - he ended up being on the bbc radio news] some feeling completely trapped we are still experiencing torrential rain, although this morning is clearer so a lot colder, plenty of big fat rain clouds to be seen, hoping it won't be too bad today as it is lunch at Roma's with Sian, an amazing 72yr old Northern lass, who also lives in the middle of nowhere with 12 dogs and a couple of horses, I met her briefly when I went out to stay Saturday evening/night, there will be another lady 65 Finnish lawyer Christine who is good friends with Sian, bit of a business meeting - but more of that at another date :}

Meloni sounds like you had a great festive time - you deserve it!! I have some empathy now re:- vertigo, just before I got ill and for a while afterwards I would get strange turns where all sense of balance left me, fortunately it happened mostly when I went to roll over in bed,  very bizarre and only a fraction of what it must be like for you xxxx

Great chat with Eli who is on top form - a shining sparkly star :} Eli and Africa come from the same star, energetically they are so similar - talking of Africa opportunity gave Ruth n I to give her just what she needed - a sewing machine and at 3 Kings how apt and bless she was in tears, well I have one that is rarely used and if she had one she can start to make some money as that is where her talents lie....

Carmen finally came round yesterday to pay for the slippers I made for her a couple of months ago, hey ho Spanish manana, as it was she wanted both pairs and ordered another for a friend, then she was saying how her brother wants someone to intercambio with so maybe another on the horizon, although he might feel embarrassed intercambio-ing with a mother person, LOL we shall see........

Hopefully will get over to Coin on Thursday and spend night with L K & M then I can have a good root around the shops for more yarn, I have a jacket to do for a friend back in Scotland and I need to restock ready for the coast, Africa has spoken to her friend who has a couple of boutiques on the coast, she has looked at my work online [crochetcrook] and likes it woo hoo another outlet. Next week is my real start point, buckle down and work!!

Duvet man [as Sa has named Norman] is still here not really doing much, shuffling about, he did go see the consulate last Tuesday and ...........he really needs to make himself get out and about between rainstorms, sitting around all day is not good for the body let alone the soul, but I do not feel it is my place to "nag" him, I observe, mind you Ruth isn't so reticent she jostles at him but I hear how he evades, suddenly becoming a little more deaf or tells blatant porkies [sorry Eli porkies = fibs/lies] - ah well his life his choice but it does chip at my compassion, interesting conversations with myself about this situation.........

Bestest news is Lau will be out on the 28th till the 2nd, she likes to be with me at D's birthday ahhh bless her AND she is bringing me a camera, she was telling me last night what a bargain she got......oooo......what fun I shall have and big thanks to J n L for this pressy xxxxxxxxx

Teresa is moving back to UK tomorrow, Leigh is going back for a week on the 15th and Z goes back then and might not be back for a while, so lots of changes.......

Blessings be and Birthday greetings to so many this month Lady Jo, Jamie, Sarah, Lesley, Amanda, Zoe - have I left anyone out? May the sun shine on you all bringing you love peace and plenty xxxxxxxxxxx
