Welcome to the World

Soz folks this is all a little late - partly because my monitor decided to die on me :( but that is on hold now till we come back from Scotland, off on Friday :)  And partly because the crochet has me hooked again , of course there are a couple of wee blankets and I have also made a new jacket and touched up a couple of others that were almost finished from last year!!!! also the weather became unbearably ht and humid that all anyone wants to do is lie in front of a fan doing nothing but drowse, then we got a nice coling wind and thought autumn was arriving early, ig storm with a real downpour really cleared the air, but seems this week temps are set to increase back up to high 30´s - so the difference will be well felt on Friday night where we will fly into night time temps of 7 or 8 brrrrrrr and days only 15 maybe 17 - hunt out the jumpers to pack!!!!

Talking of weather looked like Zoe and Paul´s Blessing was Blessed with good weather on Saturday - nice pics to be seen on FB and we have had Barbara dog staying.......


OH yes a message from a friend on FB told me her parents were in Spain at the moment, Peter and Karine, so we popped down to see them last Friday, it had been 7 years since last we met, they were over on hols and came to the village for a visit - I originally met them in 98 when they came to find out about Essiac - it is so good to see them both looking so well. We had much fun catching up - they were to come up here but K is finding the heat just too much, so is cancelled for now..............

Yep I am now an abuela - to be known as Cabrita :) Little Leah arrived last Wednesday (4th Aug)afternoon- and yes I DO think she is beautiful!!! Judge for yourself - also a very proud Papa
