Well Goodness Gracious Me!

We went up to the Mirador in Alozaina on Friday evening, what a beautiful place, sadly it was fully booked, mmm didn´t know it was soooo busy well know for future as certainly will be going back to have a meal one evening and take camera for pics, so although a little sad at not getting a table, unless we waited till midnight hahahaha oh if we had gone back they would have cooked food is served well past midnight in most Spanish bars/restaurants especially at weekends and holiday times, but as it was only half eight decided we´d give that a rain check LOL.
So we decided to head out on the Coin road where there was a place we discovered way back when we first arrived 6 years ago that we liked, about 10 - 15 mins drive, this was closed but we had noticed a few hundred yards before another vente which had opened up and seemed quite busy judging by the cars outside, so back we trundled, it was packed with Brits only Spaniard was the owner or so it seemed, food very expensive, so obviously catering for the Brit market, so had a tapas and tinto verano and headed back to our village and good ole Lorenzo, which was buzzing with Spanish and a group of guys who were from Brazil, Algeria and Morocco, they were having a blast and the atmosphere was light and full of laughter and fun, when it was time to go Lornezo and Carmen insisted we had a drink on them - another huge Baileys with mountains of ice - I was asleep the moment my head hit the pillow...........

In the morning I went up to La Era and met the new guests, yep all Asian, from London except 2 wives who are originally from Ayr in Scotland, neighbouring county to Dumfries, 11 children, seems more like 22 LOL all 6 and under more being "under", you know I used to think the Spanish were exceedingly noisy as a nation well I might have to revise that having been amongst this group, boy are the decibels high when they get going - yep does feel a bit like a surreal episode of Goodness Gracious Me!! Here I am in a small pueblo in the mountans of Andalucia, product of 2 true blue Englanders {yeah I know not something I admit to very often and for those who know me and know my mother hasn´t spoken to me in nearly 16 years will have an inkiling as to why we are soo differnet and neér the twain shall meet sadly} working for a Cuban who grew up in Florida and married to a Spaniard and cleaning for a group of Indians, don´t get me wrong I think it is laden with irony and find it all very amusing and maybe in my small way I am balancing some of the detrimental karma of my "people". Also this week being the week when partition is remembered and many good programmes on the radio BBC talking about what really happened and how the young Asians are now getting their parents/grandparents to talk about it. For those interested just go along to the radio home page most of the programmes are on Radio 4 and can be found on the listen again page: also found some good Melvyn Bragg shows - In Our Times all stimulating stuff - as someone who believes we should care for this beautiful planet I do not think we are totally responsible for the climate changes which are occurring, again man´s arrogance at being the sole culprit is quite astounding, as if Gaia is an inanimate lifeless entity - I am more inclined to think that Gaia decided man needed a good kick up the arse and as a believer in what others would call miracles, I also believe that once mankind shares all resources fairly then all environmental "catastrophes" would and could be averted and THAT is the ONLY way! Picking on people who fly is a little absurb to say the least as this creates the least amount of so called pollution and has allowed people to mix and match, share and compare expanded understanding and knowledge of "others" - far more "pollution" comes from war and it´s machines, aircraft, helicopters, bombs guns etc etc, far more cruelty is caused from the pusuit of ever cheaper products, who is ultimately responsible for this well yes fraid so US {no not U.S.} we are the ones with power of the purse and ultimately we have to make the choices as to what we buy and where it comes from and what deal the producers are getting, we can do without 9 times outa 10..........

Try to create a picture of satisfaction so vivid that its reality is unquestionable and tell the universe that your vision is fact. At the close of your appeal, express your gratitude, as it is your acknowledgment of the truth of your fulfillment that will set the creative power of the universe into motion.Working in perfect unison with the creative power of the universe will empower you to manifest spiritual realities in your material existence. As you affirm the beauty, peace, and goodness that already exist within in your life, your capacity to sense and understand their influence will become increasingly sophisticated. To meet your needs and achieve your desires, you need then only banish all thoughts of emptiness so that the energy of completeness can attract fullness into your being.
