Well Goodness Gracious Me!

We went up to the Mirador in Alozaina on Friday evening, what a beautiful place, sadly it was fully booked, mmm didn´t know it was soooo busy well know for future as certainly will be going back to have a meal one evening and take camera for pics, so although a little sad at not getting a table, unless we waited till midnight hahahaha oh if we had gone back they would have cooked food is served well past midnight in most Spanish bars/restaurants especially at weekends and holiday times, but as it was only half eight decided we´d give that a rain check LOL.
So we decided to head out on the Coin road where there was a place we discovered way back when we first arrived 6 years ago that we liked, about 10 - 15 mins drive, this was closed but we had noticed a few hundred yards before another vente which had opened up and seemed quite busy judging by the cars outside, so back we trundled, it was packed with Brits only Spaniard was the owner or so it seemed, food very expensive, so obviously catering for the Brit market, so had a tapas and tinto verano and headed back to our village and good ole Lorenzo, which was buzzing with Spanish and a group of guys who were from Brazil, Algeria and Morocco, they were having a blast and the atmosphere was light and full of laughter and fun, when it was time to go Lornezo and Carmen insisted we had a drink on them - another huge Baileys with mountains of ice - I was asleep the moment my head hit the pillow...........

In the morning I went up to La Era and met the new guests, yep all Asian, from London except 2 wives who are originally from Ayr in Scotland, neighbouring county to Dumfries, 11 children, seems more like 22 LOL all 6 and under more being "under", you know I used to think the Spanish were exceedingly noisy as a nation well I might have to revise that having been amongst this group, boy are the decibels high when they get going - yep does feel a bit like a surreal episode of Goodness Gracious Me!! Here I am in a small pueblo in the mountans of Andalucia, product of 2 true blue Englanders {yeah I know not something I admit to very often and for those who know me and know my mother hasn´t spoken to me in nearly 16 years will have an inkiling as to why we are soo differnet and neér the twain shall meet sadly} working for a Cuban who grew up in Florida and married to a Spaniard and cleaning for a group of Indians, don´t get me wrong I think it is laden with irony and find it all very amusing and maybe in my small way I am balancing some of the detrimental karma of my "people". Also this week being the week when partition is remembered and many good programmes on the radio BBC talking about what really happened and how the young Asians are now getting their parents/grandparents to talk about it. For those interested just go along to the radio home page most of the programmes are on Radio 4 and can be found on the listen again page: also found some good Melvyn Bragg shows - In Our Times all stimulating stuff - as someone who believes we should care for this beautiful planet I do not think we are totally responsible for the climate changes which are occurring, again man´s arrogance at being the sole culprit is quite astounding, as if Gaia is an inanimate lifeless entity - I am more inclined to think that Gaia decided man needed a good kick up the arse and as a believer in what others would call miracles, I also believe that once mankind shares all resources fairly then all environmental "catastrophes" would and could be averted and THAT is the ONLY way! Picking on people who fly is a little absurb to say the least as this creates the least amount of so called pollution and has allowed people to mix and match, share and compare expanded understanding and knowledge of "others" - far more "pollution" comes from war and it´s machines, aircraft, helicopters, bombs guns etc etc, far more cruelty is caused from the pusuit of ever cheaper products, who is ultimately responsible for this well yes fraid so US {no not U.S.} we are the ones with power of the purse and ultimately we have to make the choices as to what we buy and where it comes from and what deal the producers are getting, we can do without 9 times outa 10..........

As You Believe - Create Completeness
The creative power of the universe is infinite. A single molecule's destiny is as important as the consequences of the largest supernova. Human potential is subject to this power, but because we are sentient beings, each of us is permitted to choose whether we will struggle against it or work in tandem with it. When we give voice to our desires through focused meditation or solicit the help of spirit guides, we draw upon the universe's creative power to achieve certain ends. However, because our words are not all the universe hears, the response we receive may surprise us. The discourse we establish through our appeals is a blend of speech, thought, intention, and subconscious reflection. When we ask the universe for something, the unspoken message is that what we want does not exist, and the universe accepts this as truth. Conversely, we manifest completeness through affirmations in which we declare our desires as if we have already obtained them.When we affirm that we are fulfilled instead of articulating deficiencies, we are asserting that contentment is a natural and necessary element of human existence. Our essence is an expression of fulfillment—the universe wants to satisfy our needs and desires. When we describe our realities in positive terms, we are not denying the challenges inherent in existence. We choose not to focus on lack or dissatisfaction because we understand that the energy of our thoughts will determine the response we receive to our entreaties. Ask yourself how you would feel if your wishes were granted, and then allow yourself to internalize that emotional state. Try to create a picture of satisfaction so vivid that its reality is unquestionable and tell the universe that your vision is fact. At the close of your appeal, express your gratitude, as it is your acknowledgment of the truth of your fulfillment that will set the creative power of the universe into motion.Working in perfect unison with the creative power of the universe will empower you to manifest spiritual realities in your material existence. As you affirm the beauty, peace, and goodness that already exist within in your life, your capacity to sense and understand their influence will become increasingly sophisticated. To meet your needs and achieve your desires, you need then only banish all thoughts of emptiness so that the energy of completeness can attract fullness into your being.

Back Home again......

The flight home had an hours delay so we finally got back into the village at nearly 11 - ah the warmth though.......we headed straight to Lorenzo's for tapas and a nightcap, it was good to find Keith, his brother who is visiting and Julio all sitting there albeit a little *worse for wear*.
Now I am processing much of what occurred - mostly it rained in good Scottish style, having said that in Moniaive the sun shone on us and we sat out in the garden for the crones meeting LOL, on the Friday. Sat saw Sa n I going back up to Ed. Lau was being very cool with me, I think her own disappointment at not getting the mark she wanted ended up coming out at me, but hey ain't that part of being a mum; there were times when it got kinda hurtful as nothing I seemed to do or say was right, definitely a time of can't do right for doing wrong :) and there were some quite emotional times - for me I guess there is always the fear, yep I know we shouldn't allow fear to rule, but this is my weak spot, I never want our relationship to end up like my mother and me; at times it felt like Lau was becoming my mother with so much of what seemed to me like non stop criticism, she said she was trying to encourage, mmmmmmm, well I think we were both in a slightly hyper sensitive state; she has also gone through a bit if a rough patch with her fella, but seems that has resolved itself. Also she is flat hunting, so there has been a lot going on in her life, I think that the end of being a student now and becoming an *adult* played it's part too, so no wonder she was in a highly stressed state and I probably wasn't as wise as I should have been with her :(
The day of the Graduation although still wet and windy was very special and Lau looked an absolute star, it was held in a beautiful building in Glasgow, yeah she was at Edinburgh, but the Ag colleges are split between Ed Glasgow and Ayr and everyone is bussed in to Glasgow for the Grad ceremony - quite a long day all in all; back to the flat for more champagne and then we all went out in the evening joined by Lau's best friend and her fella, there was a small Caribbean restaurant 5 mins away from Lau's flat which I had spied and we decided to go there as it was a new experience for everyone, it was fabby, then off to Native State, {Lau and many of her friends have worked here throughout uni years} we oldies finally departed an the young ones carried on celebrating clubbing, woke on Sat morning a little woozy so quick coffee before heading off to bus station for the long haul home.
My biggest surprise of the trip was the arrival of J who is between jobs at the mo and up in Scotland to see friends for a few days, he arrived at Sa's and we had several hours of catching up, he was very open to me about all that is happening in his life, he is doing good and looking well.
AND I did get my tattoo :) - Sa n I were perusing pictures for inspiration and although many are very beautiful nothing reached out to me until the healing goddess appeared and so she now rests just above my heart and beautiful bluey green metallica colours - yep it was bloody painful but I am very proud of it and Lau was so chuffed with me, she is going to have the same design on her back and Sa n Maria are both having one same place but in their colours. Sa pinks and Maria reds, a symbol of our connection;
It was 10 years ago I was told I had incurable cancer so this Goddess is deeply potent for me....
I have just found i am not working today but tomorrow and Wed instead so will finish off here and head up to the gym which I have missed muchly
Blessings peace love n light
To all of you who have had birthdays in the past couple of weeks I hope you had fabby days and sorry I didn't get to send a card but I was thinking of you
