Last Weekend of Spanish Hols

Well my new punters are a very friendly upbeat bunch of folks, who enquired of recycling facilities woo hoo and are happy to to be in noooooo hurry, happy to "go local" now that´s the kind of tourists I like LOL
Funnily enough they turned up at the pool bar just after we got there - it was absolutely packed - tis the last weekend of holidays for the Spanish, so when we got there to meet Leon Bobby and the boys there wasn´t a seat to be had, kids OK out be the pool and by the time we had yacked and yacked a table became free and we had some lunch before sitting round the pool taking in the last rays of the day and heading back down to the village, poor Bobby is in a lot of pain with her knee and leg, but she managed to have a good nap out by the pool in the afternoon.
Leon insisted on seeing if he could find the part for my pc as he has a UK ebay account and seems he did, just waiting to see if the guy will post direct out to Spain, finger´s all X´d!!
Zack the youngest always loves to play with Del´s flight simulator so Leon decided to look for the game while online and four a fiver young Zack will now have hours of fun when he returns home. finally prized everyone away from PC and headed up to Bar Nuevo, hahahaha, after 9 and again packed to the gunnels, not a chance of a seat or food for at least an hour so off down to Lorenzo´s and the boys had a taste of real Spain and actually quite liked it, although I think Bobby wasn´t too happy at her eldest eating non kosher food {shell fish}, but Avi like any other 16 year old wants to have a wee rebel every now n then
They finally headed back up to Nerja around half midnight, the moon very nearly full guiding their way, their is something very special about our friendship and I am Blessed for it........
Anyway had better go and toddle up to the Bakery for some bread for La Era guests, as they were so nice I offered to collect fresh bread for them.......

Translating Our Feelings - Are You excited or Scared?

When new challenges and opportunities show up in our lives, we may diagnose ourselves as feeling scared when what we really feel is excited. Often we have not been taught how to welcome the thrill of a new opportunity, and so we opt to back off, indulging our anxiety instead of awakening our courage. One way to inspire ourselves to embrace the opportunities that come our way is to look more deeply into our feelings and see that butterflies in our stomach or a rapidly beating heart are not necessarily a sign that we are afraid. Those very same feelings can be translated as excitement, curiosity, passion, and even love. There is nothing wrong with being afraid as long as we do not let it stop us from doing the things that excite us. Most of us assume that brave people are fearless, but the truth is that they are simply more comfortable with fear because they face it on a regular basis. The more we do this, the more we feel excitement in the face of challenges rather than anxiety. The more we cultivate our ability to move forward instead of backing off, the more we trust ourselves to be able to handle the new opportunity, whether it’s a new job, an exciting move, or a relationship. When we feel our fear, we can remind ourselves that maybe we are actually just excited. We can assure ourselves that this opportunity has come our way because we are meant to take it.Framing things just a little differently can dramatically shift our mental state from one of resistance to one of openness. We can practice this new way of seeing things by saying aloud: I am really excited about this job interview. I am really looking forward to going on a date with this amazing person. I am excited to have the opportunity to do something I have never done before. As we do this, we will feel our energy shift from fear, which paralyzes, to excitement, which empowers us to direct all that energy in the service of moving forward, growing, and learning

Well Goodness Gracious Me!

We went up to the Mirador in Alozaina on Friday evening, what a beautiful place, sadly it was fully booked, mmm didn´t know it was soooo busy well know for future as certainly will be going back to have a meal one evening and take camera for pics, so although a little sad at not getting a table, unless we waited till midnight hahahaha oh if we had gone back they would have cooked food is served well past midnight in most Spanish bars/restaurants especially at weekends and holiday times, but as it was only half eight decided we´d give that a rain check LOL.
So we decided to head out on the Coin road where there was a place we discovered way back when we first arrived 6 years ago that we liked, about 10 - 15 mins drive, this was closed but we had noticed a few hundred yards before another vente which had opened up and seemed quite busy judging by the cars outside, so back we trundled, it was packed with Brits only Spaniard was the owner or so it seemed, food very expensive, so obviously catering for the Brit market, so had a tapas and tinto verano and headed back to our village and good ole Lorenzo, which was buzzing with Spanish and a group of guys who were from Brazil, Algeria and Morocco, they were having a blast and the atmosphere was light and full of laughter and fun, when it was time to go Lornezo and Carmen insisted we had a drink on them - another huge Baileys with mountains of ice - I was asleep the moment my head hit the pillow...........

In the morning I went up to La Era and met the new guests, yep all Asian, from London except 2 wives who are originally from Ayr in Scotland, neighbouring county to Dumfries, 11 children, seems more like 22 LOL all 6 and under more being "under", you know I used to think the Spanish were exceedingly noisy as a nation well I might have to revise that having been amongst this group, boy are the decibels high when they get going - yep does feel a bit like a surreal episode of Goodness Gracious Me!! Here I am in a small pueblo in the mountans of Andalucia, product of 2 true blue Englanders {yeah I know not something I admit to very often and for those who know me and know my mother hasn´t spoken to me in nearly 16 years will have an inkiling as to why we are soo differnet and neér the twain shall meet sadly} working for a Cuban who grew up in Florida and married to a Spaniard and cleaning for a group of Indians, don´t get me wrong I think it is laden with irony and find it all very amusing and maybe in my small way I am balancing some of the detrimental karma of my "people". Also this week being the week when partition is remembered and many good programmes on the radio BBC talking about what really happened and how the young Asians are now getting their parents/grandparents to talk about it. For those interested just go along to the radio home page most of the programmes are on Radio 4 and can be found on the listen again page: also found some good Melvyn Bragg shows - In Our Times all stimulating stuff - as someone who believes we should care for this beautiful planet I do not think we are totally responsible for the climate changes which are occurring, again man´s arrogance at being the sole culprit is quite astounding, as if Gaia is an inanimate lifeless entity - I am more inclined to think that Gaia decided man needed a good kick up the arse and as a believer in what others would call miracles, I also believe that once mankind shares all resources fairly then all environmental "catastrophes" would and could be averted and THAT is the ONLY way! Picking on people who fly is a little absurb to say the least as this creates the least amount of so called pollution and has allowed people to mix and match, share and compare expanded understanding and knowledge of "others" - far more "pollution" comes from war and it´s machines, aircraft, helicopters, bombs guns etc etc, far more cruelty is caused from the pusuit of ever cheaper products, who is ultimately responsible for this well yes fraid so US {no not U.S.} we are the ones with power of the purse and ultimately we have to make the choices as to what we buy and where it comes from and what deal the producers are getting, we can do without 9 times outa 10..........

As You Believe - Create Completeness
The creative power of the universe is infinite. A single molecule's destiny is as important as the consequences of the largest supernova. Human potential is subject to this power, but because we are sentient beings, each of us is permitted to choose whether we will struggle against it or work in tandem with it. When we give voice to our desires through focused meditation or solicit the help of spirit guides, we draw upon the universe's creative power to achieve certain ends. However, because our words are not all the universe hears, the response we receive may surprise us. The discourse we establish through our appeals is a blend of speech, thought, intention, and subconscious reflection. When we ask the universe for something, the unspoken message is that what we want does not exist, and the universe accepts this as truth. Conversely, we manifest completeness through affirmations in which we declare our desires as if we have already obtained them. When we affirm that we are fulfilled instead of articulating deficiencies, we are asserting that contentment is a natural and necessary element of human existence. Our essence is an expression of fulfillment—the universe wants to satisfy our needs and desires. When we describe our realities in positive terms, we are not denying the challenges inherent in existence. We choose not to focus on lack or dissatisfaction because we understand that the energy of our thoughts will determine the response we receive to our entreaties. Ask yourself how you would feel if your wishes were granted, and then allow yourself to internalize that emotional state. Try to create a picture of satisfaction so vivid that its reality is unquestionable and tell the universe that your vision is fact. At the close of your appeal, express your gratitude, as it is your acknowledgment of the truth of your fulfillment that will set the creative power of the universe into motion.Working in perfect unison with the creative power of the universe will empower you to manifest spiritual realities in your material existence. As you affirm the beauty, peace, and goodness that already exist within in your life, your capacity to sense and understand their influence will become increasingly sophisticated. To meet your needs and achieve your desires, you need then only banish all thoughts of emptiness so that the energy of completeness can attract fullness into your being.
