There is no denying the relief I felt as soon as I saw Paul - having another family member makes such a difference, but I hope I have not put too much onto him - and although he said he was immunised with the hospital and visiting [due to his mum] I think from what cousin Mary said that he was more shocked than he let on to me and it is a shock to the system when first you see Del - only his feet and forehead are touchable the rest of him is still clips and wires, his BP was reading normal yesterday, but they had had to fit a pacemaker as his heart beat went down to 30,, this is not necessarily a permanent fixture - time will tell at the moment it is fixed in his leg, he is also on a respiratory thingy and as he has an infection in the chest so antibiotics are being administered - as he hasn't had any antib's for a few years they will certainly do their stuff and he is being monitored on a continual basis, so as they say here poco poco - each day that goes by is a day stronger.....
Laura will now be waiting for her flight out from Newcastle - her brother J drove her back to Edinburgh to pack a bag last night - catch a couple of hours kip and then drive down to Newcastle, so I am glad she has big bro with her till she is on the plane, Zoe and Paul will be there to collect her this end - they will then go straight to the clinico and get today's update and by the time they get here I should be back.
Of course I forgot all about food for Paul n I for yesterday so we bumbled down to Lorenzo's and a couple of plates of tapas, Lorenzo was very sweet asking about Del etc etc as was Pedro when he saw me when we were dropped off yesterday afternoon with Loli blowing kisses from the kitchen, Paul obviously was knackered having been up from 3.30 and of course the emotionality of it all adds it's own weight anyway we were back here at 8.30 wrestling to get the key in the door and Paco our next door neighbour suddenly appeared asking how everything was and wishing D a speedy recovery - the people of this village are very kind - a very hesitant slightly nervous Wendy suddenly appeared not long after we had got back from Malaga yesterday afternoon, and I do admire her guts for coming round due to our "fall out" a year or so ago - but that was then and this is now and I never was one to hold grudges far to much hard work - and because she thought we might be down visiting she had written a wee note to leave, Christine and Alan had also asked her to drop a note by offering a taxi service when as I should need it, so I am very fortunate and I know everyone likes Del a lot there is nothing to really dislike about him he is a gentle being and then a call from Jo as in Dave n Jo asking how I was gonna manage when he gets home if his left side is affected how will he manage stairs etc - this had not crossed my mind - well I guess I am just going on a day to day basis for now, anyway she has said that their spare room is all ours as their place is on the level no problems for D........
Well I actually went to bed last night to sleep and I think the valerian/pasaflower is having an effect as I did eventually drop off and woke again just before 5 but I did have more than 3-4 hours sleep - the panic attacks are less intense thankfully :)
Some have asked for the hospital name [mostly for a focus for healing purposes]
CLINICO VIRGIN DE LA VICTORIA MALAGA - IUC is intesive care ward
Paul said there were prayers being said at Samye Ling and his girlfriend, Lorien - her mum is a devout Catholic an thee was a big mass being held in Glasgow yesterday and she was going to do her thing for Del as were/are Zoe's parents who are a different kinda Christian, Sarah's man of the mo is also a healer and he has being putting his energy out to - and i know of many other's with their beliefs doing their stuff - so he really has an amazing amount of folks routing for him
Guess better get a few bits n bobs done here - much love to everyone
