Goodbyes and Hellos

It´s been nearly a year since moving back - another year of many changes - today is the anniversary of Del´s funeral, and a sunny day just like it was 3 years ago in CasaB after a dull day previously, it´s funny how many mirrors there are in life, although he died on the 29th we had his memorial/send off from Scotland on the 27th as it was the New Moon as it was on the 29th 3 years ago and that has more meaning to me than man made dates :) Rich and Nic put lots of time and effort into building the wishboat checking it would sail etc and I decorated it fit for Del . Buddha, Akong, a wee AA man Paul made many years ago, the Om (Laura connection) his piece of amethyst and a pice of cloth that Rob brought back from India for us many years ago........oh and ofcourse the ships cat, not unlike JBBear
The launch had to be done with the sail down as the wind was wild and not blowing with the tide, but it gave us many giggles as we stomped further and further out to catch the tide
But a good day had by all :)

It has been a busy few weeks Creative Collabrators is taking off nicely and we have a wee shop thanks to J n R and the crafters and artists are bringing their work in and more are asking :) To see inside our shop click on the creative collaborators link above.......we had it up and running in a week phew.......no big opening just quietly and we have great feedback from the folks who have drifted in.......a biker and beer festival last weekend and a Bluegrass weekend just past and now the village will go quiet for a while as autumn makes itself felt, although no complaints it really balmy and the colours on the trees is so beautiful.
Jamie and Alexa have moved in their new fabby house by the eastury and I am told there is grandchild number 2 on it´s way :)
Lau and Stu seem to be having fun in Boulder, despite being attacked by the bugs who have chewed ém up a bit.......that and the altitude hahahaha but it´s all good experience, they are thinking of having a mosey round south america soon.......thanks be to the skype god(dess).
I have had good times with my crochet selling at a craft fair Michelle talked me into entering at a nearby village - one of my joseph jackets and another the day the shop in Moniaive opened, hats are going well in Willow (Dumfries) so I am busy getting restocked for Christmas and I really want to start on a new jacket as I have none now, much easier as I am manning the shop most days so can concentrate on my crochet. So Sew Pretty have been in touch about 3 workshops in Oct - Nov so we shall see if they come off......
Blessings Be xx
